TJ TV: Live from Rochester, MN!

Folks at KTTC-TV are still trying to figure out why this one-minute feature on Toe Jam story-telling at Jefferson Elementary in Rochester, MN generated out-of-this-world, record ratings. Well, to anyone who's read the book, the answer's easy: toenail fairies throughout Planet Fungeye tuned in on their TDS' – that'd be their "Toenail Detection Systems" for those who haven't got to that chapter yet. Enjoy!

Ben & TJ

This just in from our friend, Judy ...

Here's a picture of my son, Ben,  who gave up his morning cartoon routine to spend some time with Toe Jam and The Toenail Fairies. Ben said it was “Ahhh, cool!” and he desperately wants to meet the person who does the pictures. Ben's seven and just finishing the first grade, where he would rather talk with his friends than read, but at home, Ben's currently trying to create his own book series, sans words!

What The Fungus Froth!!??

YUCK! Thanks guys. Now that TJ and The Toenail Fairies' book is out, seems they've been making more midnight visits to my studio than ever before. That's cool. But this morning, I woke up to a nasty, stinky pitcher of fungus froth. Guess they made more than they could chug.

Teacher took my TJ!

Here's a fun story from our friend Jonnie O ...

My daughter Elsa brought her copy of Toe Jam and The Toenail Fairies to school, but she didn't come home with it. I asked where it was and she said her teacher took it and wanted to read it. I assumed the worst and thought that her teacher confiscated it and that I would have to get it back from him. Not the case. Elsa came home today and told me that her teacher started reading the book to her whole class and that she would bring it home when they were done with it. She even asked me to clip her toenails tonight!
